Carl Joseph Paline, aged 92, passed away on September 29, 2024, in Denham Springs, LA. He was Born on May 24, 1932, in Baton Rouge, LA. Carl served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953, demonstrating courage and dedication to his country. He dedicated 38 years to Gulf States Utilities as a service man, showcasing his commitment to hard work and dedication. Carl was a devoted parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs, LA. He was a talented musician who played country music professionally for 40 years in Baton Rouge and an avid farmer who cherished the time spent on his land. He is remembered as someone who “never met a stranger,” embodying warmth and friendliness. Carl leaves behind a loving family, including his daughter Rhonda Stein, sons Gary “Peanut” Paline and Daniel Paline, Daughters in law Amy Lott Paline and Holly Houston Paline and Sons in Law Clint Harris and Marty Stein, grandchildren Courtney Price, Erica Hogan, Amber Harris, Jordan Paline, Breland Paline, and Logan Paline, great-grandchildren Landon Anderson, Carliegh Price, Colton Tate, Bryce Hogan, Aaron Williams, and his brother, Paul Ernest Paline, Jr. Carl is preceded in death by his beloved wife Rita Ruth Cazes Paline, daughter Carla Lynette Paline Harris, grandson Aaron Carl Harris, mother Lillie Delatte Paline, and father Paul Ernest Paline, Sr., Sisters Denise, Virginia, Victoria, and Theresa. Carl’s life was one of vibrant engagement with his passions and profound love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Services will take place on October the 4, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm., and the funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place immediately after the funeral service at Roselawn Cemetery.
