Michael Allen Morris, “Mike,” passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the age of 54, surrounded by his children, life partner, and brother at Our Lady of the Lake. Mike was born on February 21, 1970, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to his loving parents, Sandra Lynn Hennerichs and Billy Joe Morris. A resident of Prairieville, Louisiana, Mike spent his life as a dedicated tire technician, but he will be remembered most for his larger-than-life personality.
Mike was truly the life of the party. His quick wit, infectious smile, baby-blue eyes, and love for telling a good story could light up any room. He always had a joke to share, and his dance moves never failed to draw smiles and laughter from those around him.
He is survived by his beloved children: Aaron Dupuy, Landon Morris, Kaelyn Morris, Chance Cade, and Kaydon Morris. His legacy also lives on through his grandchildren: Bentley Lejeune, Amelia and Avalynn Hanner, AJ, and Harley Dupuy, and Trace and Kane Morris. He is also survived by his brothers, Phillip, John, and Billy Morris, his devoted life partner, Rhonda Melancon, and along with numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Mike’s family and friends will celebrate his life at a memorial service to be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Seals Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Mike’s love for life, laughter, and his family will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Those waiting for You are rejoicing to have near again, there’s a Better Home awaiting with Our Heavenly Father, NO MORE Struggles, NO more pain, for this we are Blessed.
