Frances Powers passed at the age of 85 on September 26, 2024. She was born in Delhi, Louisiana on February 6, 1939 and was a high school graduate before working as an income tax auditor for 43 years. Aside from being a dedicated worker, she was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 26 years and enjoyed spending her time sewing, collecting vinyl records, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Kaye Bowe, sons Glenn Evans, Keith Evans, and Bruce Evans, grandchildren Jemar Evans, Bryson Evans, Derek Evans, Jacqueline Harris, Kaleigh Benedict, Mathew Evans, Jordyn DuBois, and Christie Chennavere, 11 great-grandchildren, sister Betty Jo, and brother Jerry Robertson.
She is preceded in death by her spouse of 8 years Alvin Powers, son Edward “Eddie” Evans, son Tommy Evans, father Willard Robertson, mother Emily T. Robertson, brother Willard “Little Web” Robertson Jr., sister Nita Ann, sister Gloria Jean, and sister Nell Robertson.
Frances will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her.
