Dennis Earl Hutchinson passed at the age of 78 at his home in Amite on November 6, 2024. He was born in Kilgore, Texas on August 28, 1946 to his parents Idell and George Hutchinson. Dennis was employed by ExxonMobil offshore for over 31 years. He enjoyed spending his time playing golf. Dennis has never met a stranger and was always more than willing to help anyone in any way. He will be dearly missed by all those who loved and knew him.
He is survived by his wife Sharon J. Hutchinson, son Matthew Dennis Hutchinson, daughter Suzanna Kelly (Gary), brothers George Hutchinson and Rick Hutchinson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Idell and George Hutchinson, sister Anita Hatch, and in-laws Mary and Roy Lee Jenkins.
At the family’s request, there will be a private celebration of life held.
