Charles Ewell Watts, Jr., 51 years old, a resident of Livingston Parish, passed away on November 21, 2024 at his residence. He was born on January 28, 1973 in Independence, Louisiana. He enjoyed fishing, dirt track racing, and loved to sing and listen to country music. He was known for his generous and loving personality and his smile.
Charles is survived by his father, Charles “Ewell: Watts, Sr.; son, Justin Watts; sisters, Shanda and Jessica; brothers, Aaron Watts (Michell), Jacob Watts (Tiffany), and Rodney Pierce (Mary); nieces and nephews, Kayla Granade (Micah), Makinley, Leah, Jaycee, Kaleb, and Dawson.
Charles is preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Wilson Pierce; grandparents, Alford and Aggie Fay Wilson, and Wise and Jessie Lee Watts.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ramsey Morgan, Earlin Morgan, Cobby Wheat, Mike Wheat, Terry Gill, and Wesley Needham. Honorary pallbearers will be Kaleb Watts, Jacob Watts, and Micah Granade.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation at Midway Baptist Church, 27264 S Satsuma Rd, Livingston, LA on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The visitation will continue at Midway Baptist Church, Monday, November 25, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Colyell Cemetery.
