Norman passed away at 86 years old at his home in Denham Springs with family by his side. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

He dearly loved his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his companion, Pat Mitchell.

He graduated from Central High School in 1956 and went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps. Upon returning home, he studied forestry at LSU for two years. After that time, he went to work for Dixie Electric. In 1964, he went to work for South Central Bell as a cable repairman and eventually retired from there with over thirty years of service. Norman loved hunting and spending time in nature.

He is preceded in death by his parents- AQ and Lurline Latimer, sister- Edith Perkins, brother- TD Latimer, sons- Norman Kirk Latimer and Robert Eric Latimer, and great grandchildren-Zachary Stilwell and Jacob Woods.

Survivors include his companion- Pat Mitchell, daughter- Laura (Troy) Brown, daughter-in-law- Jamie Latimer, honorary daughter- Michelle (Matt) Donnal, grandchildren- Lavelle (Jason) Woods, Ryan Latimer, Bonnie Latimer, Jake Latimer, and Cody (Morgan) Brown, honorary grandchildren- Madison Harris and Kiley Donnal, great grandchildren- Cameron Taylor, Jasmine Woods, Conner Latimer, Piper Latimer, Raelynn Brown and Landon Brown, honorary great grandchildren- Brinley and Baylen Harris, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 22nd at Sealeโ€™s Funeral Home in Denham Springs from 12pm-2pm with service to follow.

    So sorry to hear this. Blue eyes ( nickname) was a character to say the least. He was my brothers neighbor. He will be missed.
