Jeremy Paul “Buford” Fabre December 20, 1982 – December 19, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeremy Paul “Buford” Fabre, 41, of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana, on Thursday, December 19, 2024. A devoted husband, father, stepfather, godfather, and friend, Jeremy was a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew him.

Jeremy was the beloved husband of Donna Fabre, a loving father to Coltin and Aaliyah Fabre, and a proud stepfather to Adrianna and Malcolm Holmes. He was also a devoted godfather to his niece and nephew, Mylana and Kade Fabre. Known affectionately as “Buford” by family and friends, Jeremy’s greatest joy came from his family, with whom he shared countless cherished moments. He also had a deep passion for college football and never missed an opportunity to cheer on his beloved LSU Tigers.
Born on December 20, 1982, to Minnie Fabre and the late Bradford Fabre, Jeremy grew up in Jarreau, Louisiana. His warm spirit and infectious humor made him unforgettable to all who crossed his path. A lifelong lover of the color red, the family encourages those attending his services to wear red in his honor.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Central Bible Church, 8889 Sullivan Road, Central, LA 70818, followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00 PM at the same location. Guests are invited to join the family for a repast immediately following the Celebration of Life at The Sullivan Theatre.

Jeremy is survived by his loving wife, Donna Fabre; his children, Coltin and Aaliyah Fabre; his stepchildren, Adrianna and Malcolm Holmes; his godchildren, Mylana and Kade Fabre; his mother, Minnie Fabre; his sister, Krystal Fabre; and numerous extended family members and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bradford Fabre; his brother, Greg Fabre; and his grandparents, Elmo and Janice Fabre, and Wiley Sr. and Erminie David.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Baton Rouge General for their exceptional care and compassion during Jeremy’s final days. Jeremy’s warmth, humor, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help support them during this difficult time. Contributions can be sent via Venmo to @Donna-Fabre (please include “Jeremy Fabre Memorial” in the note). Condolences may also be shared at https://sealefuneral.com/2024/12/20/jeremy-paul-fabre/.

Donna and family: We are so very sorry for this loss. Grieving is a difficult and solidary experience because no one loved Jeremy as you did. Your love and marriage were unique & special to both of you. Please be assured that we are holding you and family up in our prayers and hope you feel a measure of this support. Jeremy was welcomed home with great expectation and celebration of his arrival. He is now 100% healed and his joy is fulfilled to overflowing. Hallelujah
