I can’t express how much kindness and love Ms. Karen shared with so many. She opened her heart and arms to a lot over the years. She was a beautiful, positive influence for me and I’m honored that God allowed my path to cross hers. She had to “put up”, along with Amy and Christopher…and my wonderful Band director, Mr. Phillips, with kids stopping by the house after school. But, those memories are etches of love, sweetness and family beauty I treasure. I’m so sorry Ms. Karen has passed. Her amazing love, her kindness, her beautiful spirit will forever be remembered. My love to you all Phillips Family.

I am so heart broken to hear of Ms. Karen’s passing. My love and prayers go out to Mr. David, Amy, Christopher, Evan and their families. She was always a kind, and loving person, and had the voice of an angel. I will always treasure the many flute and voice lessons that she gave me and being able to sing in the choir with her at Zachary FUMC! Heavens choir will sound better than ever now that she joined it!

Karen was not only the wife of my band director in high school but she was my coworker in a middle school. Loved her so much.
