Billy James Hanks (58) of Denham Springs LA passed away on 4/16/25. Billy was born September 24,1966 in Abbeville LA. He is survived by his Wife Nancy Hanks, two sons Jeffery Watson and Ricky Watson and Daughter Brittany Watson, His Grandchildren Khristian Nichole Watson, Jaiden Starns, Saige Watson, Kaine LeDuff and Harleigh Watson, Sister Gwen Hanks, brother in-law Mike Prejean, Brother Norris Menard. He was predeceased by his (parents) Richard Dale Hanks, Gloria Gene Menard, (brothers)Richard Hanks, Darrel Wayne Hanks and (daughter) Ashlee Nichole Hanks. Billy hanks grew up in Crowley and Abbeville Louisiana. He loved to fish and cook and spend time with friends and family. Billy married Nancy in November of 1990 and spent 37 wonderful years with their children and grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father and friend. Anyone who ever met him would instantly notice his curly red hair and friendly demeanor where he earned the nickname “Couillon” for his courageous acts. Billy made a career as a floor installer and became the “go to” for many big named stores in the Baton Rouge and Lafayette areas. Celebration of life will be held on Monday 4/21/25 at 1720 S. Range ave. Denham Springs LA
