Deryl Broussard, 75 years young, of Denham Springs, LA, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021. Deryl loved to be outdoors and tending to his garden and yard. But his passion was caring for his land, his friends, and most importantly, his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 ½ years, Janice W. Broussard; son, Chris Broussard; daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Damon Lowrey; grandson, Jude Lowrey; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Carolyn Broussard, Lonny and Johnette Broussard, and Ricky Broussard; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Whitehead Broussard; and infant brother, Dale Broussard. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Friday, May 7, from 12 p.m. until service at 3 p.m. Please share your condolences at www.sealefuneral.com.

Jodi, I don’t even know where to start, to say I am so sorry for y’all’s loss. You know, building next door to one and another, we have been through a lot. The birth of Jude, our every Sunday night dinners and Greys Anatomy…🥺. I miss you so much!!!! I am praying for comfort for the family, peace for the knowledge that he is still here…in our hearts, but I know those are just words right now. Know that you are a loved child of God, as was as your dad, and God was ready for him to come home. Y’all will reunite with him, when we all have served our purpose on earth. My deepest sympathies to Chris and the entire family. Though I did not have the pleasure of knowing Mr. Broussard personally, as a longtime friend of Chris, I can tell what kind of father and man he was. He raised an outstanding son. Peace and love to you all.
