A loving son, brother, step brother, nephew, uncle and grandson went to his eternal home on Monday, August 16, 2021. He was 32 years old. Kevin proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 6 years. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his son, Brody Wilkinson; mother, Tina Norred Landrum and step father William; father, Kevin Wilkinson; two brothers, Josh Wilkinson, Daniel Wilkinson; step brother, William Landrum III and wife Theresa; two step sisters, Jessica Landrum, Kim Wilkins and husband Don; maternal grandmother, Louise Melton; paternal grandmother, Doris Wilkinson and a host of loving family members and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A graveside service will be held at Our Resting Place Cemetery, 18013 Florida Blvd. Holden, LA 70744, on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 3pm, conducted by Rev. Adam Elkins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, William Norred and Wade Melton; paternal grandfather, Tony Wilkinson; maternal great grandmother, Thorena Barksdale; aunt, Peggy Brewer; two cousins, Willie Wilkinson, Nathan Wilkinson and niece, Nevaeh Aivazian. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Bible Baptist Church, 42363 Happywoods Rd. Hammond, LA 70403. Condolences may be offered at www.sealefuneral.com

In my mind’s eye Little Kevin will be forever smiling and stomping his little foot at Uncle Lee when his dad and uncles came home from work, decades ago, when I first fell in love with little man. I am sorry, so sorry. May God flood your heart with happy memories.

I am just crushed as I read his obituary. I am so sorry. All of my prayers are with his family. Kevin was a fine young man and I am saddened to hear this news.
