A loving wife, sister, aunt and friend went to her eternal home on Saturday, September 11, 2021. She was 63 years old. Ann loved animals and was an avid University of Alabama Football fan. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Ann graduated from the University of Alabama, with a Bachelor’s Degree. She later graduated from LSU with her Master’s Degree. Ann began her teaching career at Live Oak Middle School, and retired from Denham Springs Junior High School after 33 years of dedication to teaching Special Education. She loved spending time with family and friends. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband of 33 years, Andrew “Drew’ Robichaux; sister, Lisa McLemore Tate and husband Avrie; two nephews, Scott and Jack McLemore III and many friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, conducted by Rev. Matthew Graham. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. She was proceeded in death by her parents Jack H. and Bernice Bordelon McLemore and her brother Jack H. McLemore, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the ASPCA. Condolences may be offered at www.sealefuneral.com

This is very sad and unexpected. She was 2 years younger than me, I am her cousin. It seems like only yesterday she graduated with her master’s degree in special education. She was such a kind and loving person. I will miss her and be thinking about her for some time.

Ann your funny wit will be missed so much. She was the coolest Aunt I had. She spent a lot of time with us (Lisa is my step-mother) when she went to LSU. She loved fried chicken and would never miss an opportunity to come to dinner when Lisa cooked. She used to take me to her softball games and I always had fun rooting for her team. Tell Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Jack that we love them and miss them all. I am praying for comfort for Lisa, Drew and our whole family. Until we meet in heaven again, Sherry.

I worked with Ann at DSJH for about 14 years. We both worked with Special Education, we were a family in our little part of the Red Hall. We spent many afternoons after school sitting around trying to solve the problems of the world. Although we didn’t stay in touch as often after we retired, we still sent texts periodically to say Hi. My last texts with Ann were about my MSU Bulldogs playing in the college World Series for a Natty. We loved to discuss sports. The world has lost a dear friend and teacher, but Heaven gained an angel. Rest In Peace, my friend. My heart and prayers go out to you, Drew. You were her world as well. She touched so many lives with her knowledge and funny personality! I will miss her dearly.

ANN was a wonderful “little sister” to my first Southern friend Lisa McLemore Tate. I know the two of them shared care for their Mother traveling back and forth across LA or taking turns. She was a true best friend to Lisa. I give my love to all the family, especially Lisa, as Ann will be dearly missed.

I will always cherish the time I spent with Ann at the beginning of my teaching career at DSJH. She shared wonderful advice on teaching and life that I still use to this day. She always spoke of how much she loved Drew and their life together. Sending thoughts and prayers.
