Clarence William “Bill” Lee, age 85, died on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at his home in Denham Springs. Preceded in death by his parents, John Brown Lee and Amanda Elizabeth Erwin Lee Summers; his wife, Lorainne Beatrice “Bea” Story Lee; his sisters, Rosa Nell Lee O’Neal and Grace Lee Landry; brother James Patrick Shaffett (born: Lewis Emile Lee); and his twin brother, Clinton Robert Lee. He is survived by his sisters Inez Lee Campanella, Doris Lee Minton (husband Leroy), Lois Lee Wiese (husband Ron); his daughter, Teri Lee Planchard (husband Travis); the unofficially-adopted son, Chris Galtier (wife Angela); grandchildren, Brooklyn McChesney, Taylor Perkins (husband Skyler), Cameron White (fiance’ Mercedes), Joe Rogers (wife Meredith), Reece Planchard, Aiden Planchard, and Brandt Planchard; and four great-grandchildren, Emerson Perkins, Everly Perkins, Joey Rogers, and Wesley White. He is a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran who enlisted at the age of 17. He served honorably during the Korean War, earning the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, and the Korean Service Medal. Memorial services will be held at Louisiana National Cemetery on Friday, October 1, at 11:00 a.m.
