Robert Samuel Everitt (Sam) of Shreveport, LA died Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Jackson, LA. He and his twin sister, Robin, were born on October 27, 1952 in Tulsa, OK. Sam was a computer consultant who created site designs and custom programming, including Shreveport’s first touch screen kiosk. He developed product ordering systems, custom databases and full-service ecommerce sites. Throughout his life, Sam loved dogs and always had at least one in residence. He also loved the water and organized waterskiing competitions in the Shreveport area. In his younger days, Sam was an AAU and Bolton High School competitive swimmer. He received an undergraduate degree in Finance and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport. Sam is survived by daughters Stacy Virginia Huson (Jimmy) of Dry Prong, LA and Lyndi Everitt of Mena, AR; sisters, Patricia Jane Everitt (Patti) of Austin, TX and Kerry Everitt of St. Francisville, LA; and grandsons Jimmy Ray Huson, Jr. of Dry Prong, LA and Evan Alexander Milliken of Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Samuel and Mildred Morgan Everitt of Alexandria and Baton Rouge, LA and sister, Robin Suzanne Everitt of New Orleans and St. Francisville, LA. While an in-person service will not be held due to COVID, his friends and family are encouraged to share memories and to remember Sam in individual conversations.
