Samuel “Trey” Doherty III, passed on November 29, 2021. He was 36 years old, a Central High School graduate and worked as a carpenter, painter, and various other trades in the construction industry. Trey never met a stranger and will be forever remembered for his sweet spirit and funny personality.
Trey is survived by his mother, Dana Alise; father & stepmother, Samuel & Laura Doherty; sisters, Amy Martin (Hank), Emily Samson, Randi Stevens, and Kryssi LaBorde (John Robert); brothers, Stephen Tidwell (Haley), Jacob Samson, Joseph Samson, and Steven Threeton (Casey); grandparents, Bena Doherty and John & Diane Alise. Trey has numerous nieces and nephews who lovingly refer to him as “Uncle T”, aunts & uncles and cousins who are like siblings. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles Ray Samson Jr, grandmother, Elaine Alise, grandfather, Samuel Doherty Sr and aunt Dana Doherty Ragland.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Saturday, December 4th, 10am until celebration of his life at 1 p.m.

I’m heartbroken for you Dana. Praying for all who loved him. Especially his father and brothers and sisters. Praying the peace of God that passes all understanding will rest upon you all. Believing that through your loss many will be reached for God’s kingdom. His ways are not our ways. I’m so sorry.

Trey was a great guy with a heart of gold. Did a ton of mud riding with this fella. He is gone but the memories made will last forever. You will be missed.

I have no words! My heart hurts for you and your family! Trey was like my brother we had so many fun times! I will never forget my memories with him. I pray he is finally at peace! Love yall
