Like Elaine I also graduated with Gilbert. We both played football for Cottonport High. My sincere condolences to Gilbert’s family. He was a good man.

To the Gilbert Family, my condolences in your loss. Gilbert was a quiet man with a sense of humor. We worked together at Exxon for a while. He was a good man. May the moments you shared grant you comfort and peace as you grieve. God Bless, Vince Giaccone

Graduated with Gilbert in 1964 at Cottonport High School. He was indeed “cool”. Quite and unassuming, he was well-liked by all. He attended some of our reunions but it has been a long time since I saw him. Condolences to the family and friends of this good guy.
