Olivia Josey, 77, of Denham Springs, La. died Thursday, Feb. 10,2022 at Golden Age Nursing Home. She was born May 8th 1944 to Henry and Ercilla Falks of Holden, La. She graduated from Doyle High School with honors. She grew up in Holden, but lived most of her life in Denham Springs.She was a loving, caring mother and grandmother who will be missed sorely. She loved southern gospel music, putting jigsaw puzzles together, and visiting with family and friends.She is preceded in death by her late husband, LC Josey, son, Steve Leach, parents, Henry and Ercilla Falks, and brothers Valmond and Willie Falks. Surviving family includes her children, Selina Bennett, Cindy Cantu, and Sherman (Cheeta) Leach, Grandchildren:, Derek Miller, Joshua and Hayley Cantu, Steven Leach, and Brandon Leach and twelve great grandchildren, as well as a sister Lela Mae Bankston, a brother, David Falks and many nieces and nephews.A memorial celebration in honor of her life will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, La. Monday Feb.14th, with visitation starting at 2 pm,followed by a memorial service to begin at 5pm.

Bless your heart.Losing both parents is tough. My grandmother was the last to go. As I was looking at her for the last time, I felt like an orphan. But the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said “l will be with you always”. Look to your Faith. Love to you all. Connie Jenkins
