Jeannette Hester Webb Pickens, 91, went to be with her Lord, Jesus, Friday, March 18, 2022 at her home with her loving daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter by her side. A native of Alexandria and a resident of Denham Springs. She was the widow of beloved Methodist minister, Rev. Edward Pickens of Denham Springs. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home of Denham Springs on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 4pm-7pm, and resume Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 12-2 followed by the service officiated by Pastor Scott T. Bullock. Interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial. She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law, Gayle and Tee John Owens, and Phaedra and Lindsey Penton; grandchildren, Trent Jones, Ben Owens, wife Melissa Owens, Brandon Owens, wife Michelle Owens, Kayte Owens Hood, husband Steven Hood, Lauren Simpson, husband Brad, Michelle Genre, husband Brandon, Paige Major, husband Hayden, and Tristen Penton; great-grandchildren Kayden, Kason, Kellen, Kinsley, Kamden, Brynlee, Reese, Ryder, Carter, Addyson, Gunnar, Cole, Nolan, Maevis, Maks, and Thomas; sisters, Eloise Crowe, Gertrude Wagner, and Jean Hidalgo; brother, David Webb Sr. She is proceeded in death by her beloved husband Rev. Edward Pickens; her parents, James and Pearl King Webb; son, Edward O. Pickens Jr.; daughter, Susan Jan Pickens; sister, Sandra Calaway; brothers, Kenneth Webb, Gary Webb Sr., Harold Webb Sr., James Webb Jr. Pallbearers are Ben Owens, Brandon Owens, Ryder Owens, Steven Hood, Steven Jones, and Justin Goins. Honorary pallbearer, caregiver and Best Friend, Tee John Owens. Her greatest protector and napping buddy, Bandit. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

    We are so very sorry for the families loss. She was such a sweet lady. I enjoyed listening to her stories. We all know how much she loved her babies. . She will be missed by so many.
