Gracie Scott Haggard, 75. Gracie was born on January 8, 1947 in Baton Rouge, LA to Clarence Scott and Mathilde Acaldo, and departed from this life on March 25, 2022. She was a resident of Albany, LA and retired as an administrative assistant for the Louisiana State Department of Developmental Disabilities. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Tuesday March 29, 2022 beginning at 10:00am. Pastor Paul Toups will conduct funeral services at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Red Oak Baptist Memorial Cemetery in Livingston. She was preceded in death by her husband James “Donald” Haggard parents; siblings, Evelyn Moran, Sharon Peck, Rosemary Guidry, Jerry Scott, and Joseph Scott, and one child, baby Haggard. Her survivors include her children, Madonna Toups (Paul), Rhonda Andrews (Mark) and Arlin “Joey” Haggard; siblings Norma Buxton, Gene Scott and Carroll “Ken” Scott; grandchildren Tyler, Lindsay, Erin, MacKenzie and Mason; great grandchildren Dawson, Dakota, Paislee, Payton, and Grayson. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and devoted Christian. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kristie Foster for her love and support during this time.
