Floyd passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at The Crossing in Baton Rouge at the age of 95. He was a retired railroad conductor and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 9:00 AM until religious services at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel conducted by Pastor Steven Young. Burial will follow at Azalea Rest Cemetery in Zachary. He is survived by wife of 72 years, Ola Wilson Hess; daughters, Debra Steinbach and Cynthia Darlene Belle; grandchildren, Aaron Michael McInnis and Lance Christopher Steinbach; great-grandchildren, Jade Aaron McInnis and Mina Allison McInnis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto Charles Hess and Annie Wesley Hess and his brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be James H. Wall, Timothy Walker, Lance Steinbach, Aaron McInnis, Jade McInnis, Doug Wilson and Dustin Wilson. He has been a member of Stevendale Baptist Church for 60 plus years.
