My deepest condolences to Aunt Barb, Hallie, Jason and your family. I was deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Gene’s passing. As a young man, I always looked forward to heading off to hunting camp each year with my Dad to see Uncle Gene and Pappap. Whether it was the Sugar Shack or the other camps we gathered at each fall, Uncle Gene was always the best hunter among us. No doubt of that. I always admired this kind and caring man with a great sense of humor. Rest in peace, Uncle Gene.

My sympathy to all of you. I remember Gene as a teenager coming with his Dad and brother Lee to our house for hunting season. A long time ago. Carol Smith Danilin
