Donald L Hood, 84, of Maurepas, Louisiana, passed away peaceful surrounded by his family on Friday, December 2, 2022. He leaves behind 3 daughters, Donette Downs, Paulette St.Romain and husband Cody, and Tina Sistrunk Williams; sister, Shirley Delaune; brother, Michael Hood and wife Debra; grandchildren, Tron, Summer, Trey, Corey, Patrick (PJ), Hope, Joshua, Chrestina, Emily and Kimberly; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 great- great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Deward Penalton Hood and Eunice May Smith Hood; sister Patsy Wilkinson; granddaughter Destiny St.Romain. Pallbearers are Tron Wilson, Trey Bourgeois, Corey Bourgeois, Joshua Sistrunk, Rhett Vicknair and Rusty Coupel. Honorary Pallbearers are Patrick (PJ) Downs, Brennen Vicknair, Trevor Wilson and Casen Vicknair. Special thanks to Russ Coupel for always being there. Donald was a huge fisherman and hunter, but most of all, he loved his family with his whole heart. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs from 9:00am to 10:00am for the family, 10:00am to 12:00pm for the public, until service at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow at Hebron Church Cemetery, Denham Springs LA.

So sorry for the family’s loss. Prayers lifted up for all. Donald and my brother Anthony could always find a way to cause mischief . He was a great guy and touched the hearts of many .Mike special prayers for you
