02/22/1971 - 12/25/2018

Obituary for Buryl "Popsie" Kuhl, Jr.

Buryl Kuhl Jr, resident of Livingston Parish, LA, passed away unexpectedly on December 25th, 2018 at the age of 47. Buryl is survived by his wife, Debbie Cline Kuhl; his mother, Jan Spiers Dupre (James Dupre); his father, Buryl Kuhl Sr (Cathy Wheat); his mother in law Stellie Cline; his children, Baylie Kuhl, Kacie Kuhl, Randee Rousseau (Jacob Rousseau), Jamie Farris, and Dwayne Farris; his brother Billy Kuhl “Gator” (Lacy Averett); his sister in law Kelly Falgout (Ronnie Falgout); his grandchildren, Landon Luker “T-bud”, Cade Rousseau “Podnah”, Brantley Wilson “Papoose”, Jessi Farris “T-Fee”, and Connor Rousseau “Pasquali”; his nieces, Kori, Lexus, Christine, Sydney, Jennifer; and his nephew, Riley. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Maw Pep Bergeron and J. A. Speirs, and Maw Maw Helen Crutchfield and Murphy “Chick” Edmonston; his father in law, Kenny Cline and his brother in law Kenny Wayne Cline. Buryl was born in Fairfield, California on February 22nd, 1971 to Buryl Kuhl Sr and Jan Dupre. He graduated from Maurepas High School in 1989. He and his brother “Gator” owned a flooring business and later he transitioned to Operations Manager for Sprint Transport. On November 7th, 2007 he was married to the love of his life Debbie Cline. Buryl was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, and grandfather “Popsie”. He loved spending time with his family, taking them hunting and enjoying a good campfire. Every year he looked forward to opening day with his best friends and loved ones. Buryl was a talented guitar player (especially on Gator’s front porch). He was always smiling and had a contagious laugh. He was the best friend anyone could have and would give the shirt off his back to anyone he could help. He was extremely bright and had an uncanny ability to repeat any task after only witnessing one time. He was great with his hands and able to fix anything. He will be forever missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. On December 31st there will be a visitation beginning at 9 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs. Deacon Jimmy Little will officiate.
