Obituary for Christopher Dale Whiddon

Chris Whiddon, age 47, of Walker, Louisiana passed away surrounded by his family on November 18, 2019. He was employed by Star Service for the past 15 years. He truly loved his job and work family. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and music. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Roger Dale Whiddon. He was a loving husband of 19 years to Avonia Whiddon. He is the grandson of Betty Douglas of Slidell, Louisiana. He is the son of Susan Butler Hickes, stepson to James (Butch) Hicks, III, and brother to Trisha Whiddon DeMars (Gerald). He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Nicholas Moreau, Zachary Moreau, Jilliyn DeMars, Addisyn DeMars, Alexis Whiddon, and Ashton Whiddon. A celebration of life service will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs form 1-4 P.M. on Saturday, November 23rd. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
