Obituary for Jimmy Wayne Guillory

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Jimmy Guillory on June 26th 2019. Jimmy was born in Pine Praire, and was an electrician by trade. An avid horseman, one of his many hobbies included building custom made, authentic, covered wagons, for which he and his team won multiple awards. He enjoyed travelling the United States in his RV, attending NASCAR races, hunting and fishing. He had a lifelong passion for LSU sports He is preceded in death by his parents, Theophile and Rose. His sisters, Loretta Patterson, and Cherry Johnson, his former wife, Wilda Guillory, and his companion Lois Whitehead. We ask that you pray for his surviving family; Brother, Stacy Guillory Daughters Lisa Guillory and Wendy Petrig. Son-in-law Kehvn Petrig. Son Joseph Guillory and son-in-law Carlos Metaxas. Grandsons Steven Heltz and wife Paula Heltz, Michael Heltz and Kyle Lott. Granddaughter Brittany Monteleone. His great grandchildren, Connor Heltz, Riley Hektz and Scarlett Heltz. As well as the many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family who will miss him so. Services will be held on Monday at Christ Community Church, located at 26574 Juban Road, Denham Springs, 70726. Visitation is from 9:00-12:00. Burial will follow and will be at the Killian Chapel Cemetery, located at 33778 Highway 16, Amite Louisiana, 70422. Sorry to hear about Jimmy. Great guy. I worked with him at the paper mill for a long time. I have seen his covered wagon.. I know he loved that hobby.
