Obituary for Morris Wayne Allen

Morris Wayne Allen, 68, of Denham Springs, LA, passed away on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018. Morris retired after years of service at a Maintenance Technician for the Denham Springs City Gas Department. He loved to ride the river on his pontoon boat and fishing. He was a loving brother, uncle, and friend to many and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Monday, Dec. 31, from 10 a.m. until service at 1 p.m., burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. He is survived by his siblings, Casel Lee Allen and wife Eva, and Jo Lynn Allen; nieces and nephews, Laura Renee Landry and husband William, Clyde Michial Lawrence and fiancé Stephanie, and JoDee' Purvis Lazarus and husband Anthony; great nieces and nephews, Corinne and Grace Murphy, William Landry, IV, and Aubree Lazarus; and a host of cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Lee “J.L.” and Bessie Lou Jones Allen. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Joseph’s Carpenter House.
