I knew Charles when he lived in Cedar Park, Texas. I remember Trey and Cory but I also remember he had a nine month old daughter (at the time) named Paige. He was a good singer. We always wondered what happened to Charles. He just disappeared from Cedar Park one day and no one knew where he moved to. Sorry to hear about his passing. My thoughts are with Trey, Cory and Paige.

Meme, Kelly & Laurie, Trey & siblings, Gavin James & cousins, grands of Charles:
My heart has ached with and for you. May the Peace of Christ lift you up and carry you through this season. May the love of the Father overwhelm and swallow up the ache of loss. May an awareness of the closeness of the Comforter bring you sweet solace. May the Words of Isaiah 61:1-3 be fleshed out in each of you. Beauty for ashes; joy for mourning; praise for heaviness.
    Much love,
    Rena

To the family of Charles Durand: I never met Charles, but I know Chrisy, the mother of Evan, and I grew up with his newly found brother, Steve Hickman. I had been living in Baton Rouge many years when Charles and Steve were united. I was so excited for both of them to finally meet. I recently moved back to Tupelo, and I keep up with Evan through Chrisy’s Facebook page. I didn’t know Charles had been ill, and I’m so very sorry for your loss. I know Steve and Charles are together again, and God is watching over them. May your family find peace during this time of mourning.

Sandra a mother should never see her child go to rest before her. I’m so glad he was ready to meet our Lord Jesus I remember him coming on his bike on Gene Buckle to see Donalyn. I pray that the peace that passes all understanding be with you and your family🙏🏻

I’m so thankful to have met so many members of the Durand family!! So many times I wondered if Charles Jr. was really a Durand!! 😂 His conversation with U could be confusing but before it ended U always understood what he was saying!! I could disagree with him but he never held a grudge and was always so kind to me!! He’ll be missed!! I’ll be there Sunday in spirit with a sad heart but sending up prayers for all the family!! Just remember where Charles Jr. is and it’s a better place than we’re at!! ❤️🙏
