March 20, 1951 ~ December 29, 2020

Brother Dale Kyle passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 in Baton Rouge, LA, with his wife (MJ) by his side, after a long battle with cancer.  As a preacher and music minister for nearly 50 years, Dale touched many lives through both his preaching and gospel music.  He was truly a man after God’s own heart and his passion for Jesus was obvious in his everyday life – even as he battled cancer.  He is now pain free and is rejoicing in Heaven with his Lord and Savior along with those who preceded him in death including his father, Sam B Kyle, and mother, Gladys Bozeman Kyle Logan.  He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (MJ) Case Kyle, daughter, Tonya DeCoursey Gugich (George), grandchildren, George (Madeline) Gugich and Milese (Cole) Gugich, two great grandchildren, and two brothers, Ray (Faye) Kyle and Dean Kyle.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Dale will be held on January 23, 2020 at Seale Funeral Home at 1720 S Range Ave. Denham Springs, LA.  Visitation will be held from 12-2pm with the service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the gospel group Chronicle who will continue to spread the gospel through their music ministry and the singing of some of Dale’s songs.  Checks can be made payable to Chronicle and mailed to Missy Kinchen at 36683 Fore Rd. Denham Springs, LA 70706.

This man was truly a man that knew Jesus. He was such a gentle, kind man that always had a good word for everyone even in his suffering. We will truly miss this man….his songs, his words but most of all his spirit. Praying for you MJ and your family… May His hand of peace and comfort be upon you all guiding each step of the way. You have been such a dear wife and friend to our brother. I love you.

What a fine and faithful Godly man – In the short time my wife and I had known him, we were amazed the way he kept his strength and Faith while he went through so much. He knew that total happiness with Our Lord was just around the corner. God Bless his wife and family!

I only met Brother Dale a few times at Journey church in Prairieville. His singing and preaching really touched me. MJ gave me a music CD of his singing, a gift I will always cherish. He is with Jesus now and out of pain. God Bless the entire family.

Brother Dale will be truly missed. He was an important part of my child hood as my family’s pastor, the man who baptized me, and dedicated my daughter. I grew up in his church and was extremely blessed to know him. He and his family will forever be an important part of my life.
