Virgin Lynn Burnett passed away at home in Zachary, LA on Wednesday January 6, 2021 with his son and Brother by his side. He was born on July 7, 1958 in Tylertown, MS to the late Hilda and Thurl V. Burnett. He is preceded in death by his wife of 23 years Linda K. Forbess Burnett. Lynn (known to his offshore family as Virgin) worked offshore for a total of 30 years. He was best known for his Slickline work. If you had the opportunity to work a hitch with him and still had a job you could make it offshore. He loved his family, especially spending time with his grandkids. He was proud of his grandchildren in their many accomplishments such as being a MA2 in the Navy, playing football for the Central Wildcats and dancing. Survivors include his son Robert Burnette (Dusk), daughter Kristina Moore (Blaine), daughter Felicia Mcleod Baham, Jennifer Wroten (Nick), 2 step children William Robinson (Kali) and Heather Dixon (Tara), 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 grand dogs. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.     He was so cool when I was a kid. Some of my favorite childhood memories were with him and Linda. Always opened his home to everyone. So very glad my kids got to know him. Will so truly miss that laugh and conversation.

    We will truly miss this man! I had so much fun hanging out with him! He loves mine and Dallas’ son so much! Braylon would always smile and play with him! Uncle Lynn thank you for the sweet memories and thank you for being who you were!
