I’ve have struggled with separation anxiety and trust issues all my life, but you was real, you were one of my best friends when we were younger. Sometimes I have a hard time of why things happen, but chalk it up to it’s just life on life’s terms. I so happy that you got away from this wicked system we call life and this world we are letting slip through our fingers but know your struggle is over my friend, and the only ride let is the peaceful one. I do know one thing for sure, you better have a ice chest full of some cold ones and a spot in the boat for me when this is over, for me that is. I will catch up before to long brother.R.I.P Rod

Rodney I too live in the world of struggles and pain caused by addiction. Many of our dear friends have passed much too young from the same fate as your own. Your friendship was much more than that to me and I am proud and honored to have called you a brother I love you buddy and could never forget your genuine loyalty, heart and loving nature. REST EASY MY FRIEND

My beautiful loving son, there are no words to describe my love for you. I talked to you everyday either by text, or a phone call. Sometimes you would say “ Mom, we don’t have to talk everyday” and I would say “Yes, we do”. I loved having conversations with you even when they were about nothing at all. You never failed to say “I love you mom” before hanging up the phone. I am going to miss those talks. In one of our conversations recently, you told me that if you were to pass away before me, you were going to be my angel, and watch over me. So go fly high my boy and be the best angel Heaven has to offer. You are free now from the pain and suffering. I love you with all of my heart, and soul. Fly high my son. Love Mom

It’s times like this that you wish you could rewind, even for just a little while. Whether it be to sit and laugh or cry or not say anything at all but to take all that you shared as a family in and hold on to it for just a little while longer. You were one of a kind. Shy at times , yet very outgoing, you were kind, and humble and a good brother in law. Your guitar skills have well exceeded the day me and Travis walked out the room with your Christmas gift, a guitar. I can still remember the look on your face. Your brother was so excited to get it for you he knew you would be too. The Christian concerts we went to together and had an absolute blast. Anything we did as a family was fun, and memorable at that. Just know we are proud of you and how far you came. Watch over your momma and your brother, guide them to peace as we know you are finally able to. Love you little bro. You will forever be in out hearts ♥️…
