Henry was a special person when I met him at Dow Chemical . He was a great project manager and handled large projects very effectively. What a special personality he had. . He will be missed and I’m sorry for the loss to the family . He is smiling with his creator and now without pain. Prayers go out to the whole family.

My condolences to the family, especially Lisa and Michael. I remember them well from Immaculate Conception. We moved in 1993, but I would still see Henry at Dow. The last time I saw him was at Middendorf’s, not long after Sylvia died. I was saddened by her death then, as I am about learning of Henry’s death today. He was a good man, he did a lot for the church, and it showed: He loved his family very much.

    Judy, Lisa, and Michael,
Our hearts are heavy with the passing of Henry. He was bigger than life, flashing that big smile and ready to take on whatever was next. He worked tirelessly at ICC, always available when needed. Whether it was cooking that amazing spaghetti sauce, heading or actively participating in the fair, or serving in committees, Henry was happily involved. So many of our memories of our years at ICC include Henry. We are fortunate to have called him a friend. God bless all of you.

When I think of Immaculate Conception Church, I see Henry in my mind’s picture. He was always there…at morning and Sunday Mass, at the church fair, at the appreciation dinners, at the St Joseph Day altar, at the Knightsof Columbus functions. He was always friendly and kind; and, he was a faithful servant. He was loved and will be missed. My heart hurts for his family and his friends.

    I know he is dancing…

He was such a part of ICC, and a big help to me planning and ordering our shrimp for the RCIA Lenten suppers, and all the other activities he was involved in. It truly won’t be the same without him and seeing his smiling face around our church. Prayers for you and your family.

Lisa- you were the apple of your Daddy’s eye and he was so lucky to have you. I remember how much he helped us during the flood. I also can’t forget how honored I felt to be your guest at St. Joseph’s Altar and the great respect everyone there had for him. He certainly made a mark on every life he touched and he won’t be soon forgotten.
