Please be patient as we are working to provide the best and safest service to our families for their loved one.

August 4, 1970 ~ February 8, 2021

Esquiel ‘Ray’ Ybarra, 50, passed away peacefully at his home in Denham Springs, Louisiana on Monday, February, 8, 2021

Ray was born in Baytown, Texas on August 4, 1970

He is survived by his father, Gabriel Ybarra Jr; his brother, Samuel Ybarra; his sister, Sandra Reynolds; his son, Jonathan Tate; his daughters, Kera Pendarvis, Amber Pendarvis, and Emily Chavez; and his two grandchildren Kember and Fisher.

He is preceded in death by his mother Maria Rosalinda Ybarra.

Ray was the happiest when he was able to sit and watch football or Nascar in peace and quiet; he enjoyed fishing and cooking his secret recipe brisket. Ray loved to spend time rolling a few strikes while bowling; and of course, spending time with his two grandbabies who were his biggest fans. When Ray was around a group of friends and family, he was sure to be the jokester to keep people laughing and put a smile on their face. He will be missed dearly by everyone who was lucky enough to know him.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, La on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 12:00pm-2:00pm

I’m still so shocked that Ray is gone. I will miss him and all his jokes, keeping us laughing, his bowling faces and his cooking. He was generous and always there anytime I needed help, I’m grateful to have had him as a friend. Sending love and prayers up to him, and to his kids and grandkids who he loved more than anything. Rest In Peace Ray.

The day at the beach with the police and ur smart immigration remarks it’s hard to really believe there will be no more smart comments from u no more big head and chrome dome jokes being made back and forth between us but ur soul is at rest u fought long and hard my u Rest In Peace, until we meet again my friend.
