Bradley Stephen Taylor, 48, of Denham Springs, LA, passed away at his home Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Bradley loved to fish when he had the time. He was a dedicated nurse at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. He loved helping those in need. He enjoyed any time he could be with his family and was a devoted and loving husband and father to his children. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Amy Bourriague Taylor; son, Luke Taylor; daughter, Katie Taylor; brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Adrianne Taylor; sister, Aimee Cowell; parents-in-law, Steve and Debbie Bourriague; sisters-in-law and husbands, Jennifer and Dustin Stewart, and Cherie and John Adams; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Rita Taylor; and brother-in-law, Don Cowell. Visitation will be held at First United Pentecostal Church 2828 Jones Creek Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, Saturday, February 13, from 12:30 until service at 2 p.m., officiated by Rev. Dan Davis. Amy, Luke and Katie,
As former co-workers with Brad at DEQ, we just learned, and are saddened by the news of Brad’s passing. Everyone here that knew Brad, thought the world of him. He was kind, generous with his time, and took pride in his work. We hated to see him leave us, but he was passionate about becoming a nurse, and from what has been previously written, he was just that, passionate about serving others.

Bradley, I am stunned to know I will no longer see your smiling face at OLOL. I enjoyed working with you and knowing no matter how crazy my day was that you had it all in control to charge the night shift when you floated to our unit. You were always so pleasant to be around, your joyful and calm spirit will be missed. Praying for comfort for your family.

Brad, you were such a joy to be around as a nurse buddy and friend. Although, we didn’t work the same unit anymore..we would always see each other passing down the hallways at the lake hospital as we were rushing to get to our nursing shift. When the staff needed you..you had our back B. It is so hard to type this without crying but you were dedicated to your patients and worked night and day. I used to always fuss at you about getting rest but you were dedicated on the frontlines. Man, you will be truly missed! From one RN to another..love ya B..fly high! You and your family are in my prayers! 😢😢

Brad was a friend and an encouragement through my college years and we worked together for a little while in our early 20s. He always had a good twist on ways to see the world. I hate to see him go so soon. I saw him a few years back and he was so happy and in great spirits with his family, his work, just life altogether. Rest in happiness Brad.
