Barbara Ballard Beckham, age 78, entered the Kingdom of Heaven to return to her Heavenly Father on February 19, 2021. She was born January 8, 1943 in Independence, Louisiana to Jason and Lula Graham Ballard. They resided in Watson, La. She was adored and loved by all who knew her. Barbara attended Denham Springs Beauty College in 1959. She later married and dedicated her life to being a faithful, loyal wife and loving, and devoted mother of 6 children. Barbara was a partner with The Shriners and Saint Jude. Her heart went out to children, especially to those in need of healing. She was not only a Mother but a friend to many. Her hobbies were her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and Bingo. She also loved the Lord. Wednesday night before she passed, she quoted Roman’s 10:9-10 to her daughter.  She wanted her to know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that she was going to be in Heaven. She survived by her brother and wife Eugene and Linda Ballard, sister and husband Connie and Wayne Lentz, daughters and their spouses Connie and Kenely Brown, Dianne and Robert Bergeron, Barbara and Vince Caruso, Lisa and Timmy Carlton, her sons, Phillip Lentz, Jr and James Lentz. 19 Grandchildren,Tommy, Bobby, Jennifer, Mike, Joey, Tiffany, Scottie, Megan, Ashley, Dillan, Colton, Katalaya, Dakota ,Ray, Katie, Katelyn, J.R.,  Tate, Nick.  She had 17 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and her dear friend Pearl Arbor. She preceded in death by her parents Jason and Lula Graham Ballard, her husband Phillip Lentz, Sr and her brother Edward Ballard. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 12 pm to 2 pm. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Please share your condolences at www.sealefuneral.com.
