My hero, my faithful companion , the love of my life, here it is 2024 and not a day has went by that I don’t miss him. There are so many things to miss. Where I’m truly grateful for my chikdren and grandchildren, there is a part of ne that feels a void,a loneliness that won’t be filled in thus earthly life. He nit onky loved ne, he loved my children, grandchildren and oh how they loved him. As much as I miss him I take comfort in knowing he has re-unuted with his mom, dad and those of his family that had passed into the next life before him and with his step-son nealie whim that were ever so close. Every family picture the 2 of them are always side by side, many photos of nealies head resting on Jim’s shoulder. Nealie, my sweet son passed Feb 14 2020 and Jim passed March 04 2021, although to thus day my heart breaks, I know they are together and I feel they are watching over me and the family.

We lived blocks away growing up on the East Side. Calumet Park and Lake Michigan as our playground; pick-up games of all sorts played with the many kids that lived in that area. A simpler time.
Went to K-12 in the same schools.
My prayers and condolences for him and his family.

Once again I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed the several years I worked directly with Jim. He had a unique sense of humor…we were out of town on a job and my motel room phone rang so I answered it…the voice said “Front Desk” to which I replied “I didn’t call the front desk”…and hung up. A minute later my phone rang again so I answered it…and again the voice said “Front Desk”. Again I stated I did not need the front desk. The third time it rang is when I realized it was Jim calling the whole time…pranking me. Our friendship never faded thereafter and that is why I am truly saddened of his untimely passing. I hope the entire family finds peace and comfort in the days ahead and may God bless everyone!
