We lived blocks away growing up on the East Side. Calumet Park and Lake Michigan as our playground; pick-up games of all sorts played with the many kids that lived in that area. A simpler time.
Went to K-12 in the same schools.
My prayers and condolences for him and his family.

My heart breaks for all of you. You are missed Jim. The light is a little less dim.

Once again I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed the several years I worked directly with Jim. He had a unique sense of humor…we were out of town on a job and my motel room phone rang so I answered it…the voice said “Front Desk” to which I replied “I didn’t call the front desk”…and hung up. A minute later my phone rang again so I answered it…and again the voice said “Front Desk”. Again I stated I did not need the front desk. The third time it rang is when I realized it was Jim calling the whole time…pranking me. Our friendship never faded thereafter and that is why I am truly saddened of his untimely passing. I hope the entire family finds peace and comfort in the days ahead and may God bless everyone!
