Hamlet Hansel “Brother-In-Law” Crotwell passed away Tuesday March 16, 2021 at his residence in Denham Springs at the age of 98. He was retired from the Ethyl Corporation and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Visitation will be held at Hebron Baptist Church, Denham Springs Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 12:00 PM until religious services at 2:00 PM conducted by Rev. Charles Ray Smith and Rev. Jimmy Womack. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Blenda Crotwell and Clark and Gina Crotwell; sisters, Nell May and Joann Cribes; grandchildren, Gina and Brian Sandford, Renee and Stephen McCann, Clark Crotwell, Jr., Tom Crotwell and wife Elaine, Cody Crotwell and wife Kaley and Todd Crotwell; great-grandchildren, Jaycee Crotwell, Remington McCann, Brody Sandford, Heidi, Hadley, Cade, Abbie and Amelia Crotwell; sisters-in-law, Lena Crotwell and Margret Crotwell; caretaker, Vonda Dispayne; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Helen Crotwell; parents, Roy and Linnie Crotwell; son, Justin Crotwell; brothers, Clifford, Elvin, Howard, Robert and Carew Harris, Jr.; sister, Neva Hood. Pallbearers will be Clark, Jr., Tom, Cody, Todd, Remi and Brody. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Memorial donations may be made to Cardinal Hospice, 8280 YMCA Plaza Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70810. Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs is in charge of arrangements.
