    To Caro and family,

Our family is overcome with heartache for what you all are going through. Ronny was a very special person and the kind of Christian that reminds one of a solid oak tree. Having been through this kind of loss before, we know there are no adequate words that can make things feel better, but let us simply say that we will remember Ronny. The world is better for having had him. If you need anything at all please don’t hesitate to ask.

    With continued prayer.

Dearest Caro, Trey, Christian, McCoy, and Gabby,

This journey you all find yourself on is an unspeakable one. It will, and likely has, taken your breath away. For that I can never say I am sorry enough. I wish it were not so. During this time of grief and mourning, please find comfort in knowing that Ronny’s light will never cease to be. He left a mark on this world and anyone who was blessed to have known him, and that cannot be erased, it will not fade. Ronny was undeniably unforgettable.

I am holding you all in my heart and am praying for each of you continuously. I am truly here for anything you may need.

    With much affection.

Ronny is a good friend to many, a devoted and loving father and husband, and a mighty follow of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You’ll be missed, but I know we’ll all see you again soon my brother.

Caro, I know it’s tough to say goodbye, but it’s only temporary. Ronny’s spirit is alive and eternally in victory and paradise. He’s there now celebrating in God’s glory and joy with his mother and with my dad. I’ve got many fun memories with Ronny from my high school and college years. Ronny was always a very joyful and fun person. He has been a blessing to many. I’m glad to call him my brother. I know he wants us all to be celebrating with him and thinking of him with his 1000 watt smile as he’s looking down from heaven. God bless you Caro. May God’s peace, joy and comfort fill you and your children. I love you guys.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
    Jeremiah 29:11-13

During my stay in Baton Rouge in March 2005, he was a great friend at Hossana First Assembly church.
He drove to the Marriott Hotel in the morning of our departure to Kenya, East Africa with lots of gifts to my family in Africa.
May God comfort Caro and the family during this painful moment of bereavement!

I’m so very sorry for your loss, Smith family. I knew Ronny in high school and he was such a loving and good humored young man. He loved his Camaro in high school! It is such a comfort to know that he is with our Lord Jesus and that you all will be reunited with your dear Ronny in heaven. You all are in my prayers.
