My thoughts and prayers are with all her family during this difficult time. What a delight and pleasure to call her teacher and good friend. She brought more music to the community than anyone I’ve known. I loved her and know she’s rejoicing with Dr. Walker after all these many years. May she rest in peace, good and faithful servant.

I extend my deepest sympathies to Debbie, Barbara, Dinah, Terrilee and the rest of the family! I am forever grateful to God that Mrs. Regina was my piano teacher for years and years. I was blessed to have studied under the best! She invested in so many generations, not only with her passion for music and discipline for excellence, but also her love for Jesus! The wonderful memories I have of Mrs..Regina are endless. The piano and life skills she taught me are priceless.

May the Walker family sense God’s loving arms in a special way around their hearts during these difficult times. You are loved and prayed for! Sending big hugs, Dana Teague

Having endearing memories of piano lessons, though only for a short time, with Ms. Regina when I was 13 and a new resident of Denham Springs. I miss seeing the house across Range from my house. Her courageous, straightforward, purposeful prodding for excellence has influenced me and my children to be what we are today. Hugs all around to her precious family. One of my favorite people never to be forgotten, rest in peace Ms. Regina.

Mrs. Walker was the first music teacher/choir director I had…that at Beauregard Junior High school in New Orleans, in the 1950s. Studying under her for three years at that time and then studying voice under her when in high school were great learning experiences for me. I was also among a group of kids to accompany her to Gatlinburg, Tennessee to Smoky Mountain Music Camp. She was an extremely talented woman who set the bar very high! I feel fortunate to have been mentored by her…..a great influence.

It was a great pleasure for me to play with Ms. Regina on her team in a golf scramble a few years ago. Our ladies group has always enjoyed her company on the course and we will miss her. Rest in peace, Ms. Regina.

My prayers are with the Walker family, Ms. Regina was a strong presence to her family and the community. She was always willing to lend a hand whenever we had our show, LPCC participated in a few of our events and their talented members shared our stage throughout our tenure. She tirelessly gave her talents to her organization and her students and anywhere she could make a difference. I always admired Ms. Regina’s zest for life, she was so young at heart and enjoyed—-enjoying her life and her family. I know her family as well as those who were with her occasionally will miss her terribly but what makes me smile is thinking how happy Dr. Ed is having his beautiful bride beside him again. No doubt about that. May God Bless her memory and may LPCC continue the legacy that she helped create.
