I had the wonderful privilege of working with Brad at the Legislative Auditors Office years ago. He was always a pleasure to work with and was so generous in his sharing of knowledge. Although it’s been awhile since I last saw him, I feel the void that he has left. My sincerest condolences to his family and the staff of the Legislative Auditors Office. May God comfort you in your loss. ❤️

I had the pleasure of having Brad as a boss at the Legislative Auditor’s office. He brought his intellect and a calm to our department that made us all that much better. He was an incredibly kind man who was always open to new ideas. He genuinely wanted to make things better. He wanted to know how everything was going, not just with the work, but with all of us personally. I very much enjoyed our talks. He made me laugh. His passing leaves a large footprint in our office that will be hard, if not impossible, to fill.

Mary Ann, I pray that God will give you and all of his family comfort and peace at such a difficult time.

I feel very fortunate that I was given the opportunity to work with Brad for the last 13 years. Brad was devoted to the people of Louisiana and also to us…his coworkers. He treated each of us with kindness, respect, and compassion. He lead with integrity, honesty, and an incredible wealth of knowledge. There wasn’t a day that went by when he wouldn’t crack a joke just to see people smile. He was my friend and a friend to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Brad was one of a kind and I feel honored to have known him. My deepest sympathies to his wife, children, and loved ones.

I worked with Brad at the Legislative Auditor’s Office. He was my boss, but it felt like I was working everyday with a buddy/friend. We worked hard, but we laughed a lot. He was just a good guy. For example, when he found out my daughter was picking up the guitar and learning to read music and play (and sing), he really seemed excited for her. Next thing I know, he shows up at the office with two electric guitars he wanted her to have. He was just a guy that would do things like that.

Also, Brad was highly intelligent and he was really effective at his job. He helped improve local government around our State and he was highly respected by local government officials, CPAs, and Legislators. He made stressful work situations calm and I will miss working with Brad. Mostly, I will miss our afternoon project status talks about work and life.
