Marietta, was born on May 2, 1953 in Clinton, Louisiana. She lived a life full of love and devotion to the people she loved and the things she did. She worked for many years as an accounting supervisor at Earl K. Long/LSU Medical Center, and then stepped into retirement where she was able to enjoy her family and fur babies. Despite her hard-fought battle against cancer, Marietta continued to display her strong spirit and love of her family and friends. She was deeply loved and will always be missed. Marietta is survived by her sons and their wives: Jay and Michelle Parrish, Steven and Tanya Parrish, and Ashley and Sue Ellen Parrish, and step-sons and their wives: Ricky and Brandi Watkins, and Donnie and Cheryl Watkins, along with all her beloved grandchildren: Noah, Drake, Kloe, Riley, Jonah, Leslie, Matthew, Devon, Nicholas, Haynes, Ronnie, Baylen, McKenzie, and Kayleigh. She is also survived by her brothers: Jimmy and his wife Marcie, Alvin, and David Bryant; sister-in-law Joanna Gaines, aunt Katie Hutchinson, and cousin Clovia Bunch, along with all of her nieces and nephews. Marietta is preceded in death by her parents James and Ruby Bryant, and her beloved husband James Watkins.
