Donald Jerry Anders passed away at his home on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the age of 80. Better known as Frosty, he attended Ogden High School, then Odessa College where he excelled in basketball and track. He proudly served his nation in the US Army and Louisiana National Guard.

Graveside services will be held at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 1:00pm.

Donald was born on March 8th, 1941 in Franklin Parish to Morgan H Anders and Earline M Anders. He was preceded in death by Sunny Anders, Earline Anders, his sister Peggy Miller, and his wife Caroline Anders.

Survived by two sons Jeffery Don Anders and Gerald Anders, a brother William and wife Linda Anders. Numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jerry had a great love for fishing and all outdoor activities. He loved gardening.  Unknown to many was his ability to write poetry, he penned many, that were enjoyed by family and close friends.

    Mr. Jerry was one of the most kind men. Our daughter, Emma, loved going to visit Mrs. Caroline and Mr. Jerry. He will be missed. He was a wonderful neighbor.
    I wish I could be there for his funeral. I will be praying for Mr. Jerry’s family. So thankful to have known him. Please let us know if we can help, Jeff.
