My aunt Joyce loved to dance and laugh up a storm lol. I’ve had many.times of laughter with especially about those darn noodles lol. I remember stopping in St. Francisville at the local florist one day and sending her flowers when i learned she wasn’t feeling well. Im so glad I could do that and bring joy & laughter to a small part of her life. REST IN PEACE AUNT JOYCE the best is yet to come!

My Aunt Joyce was a sweet person, who will be missed and always loved. I have many memories and things she taught me. She loved The Lord and family very much. she will always be remembered for her “homemade cat head biscuits and red eye gravy”, her homemade chicken and dumplings and best of all her homemade sweet potato pie !! She would take me to vacation bible school and let me stay with her during the summers when I was young . She will also be remembered for her wooden paddle when we didn’t listen! Go rest now in the palms of The Lord Aunt Joyce your work on earth is done. Til we meet again :: tell Maw Maw Charity hello… Uncles Bray, Adrian, Johnny , and GD also Aunt Mildred and my daddy Gerald we love and miss them all. 🙏❤️💔

Denise & Celeste, you don’t need anyone to tell you how sweet & loving Momma Joyce was, but I’ll tell you again! Momma Joyce was such a special lady! She was loved by many non family members, myself included! I loved spending the night over when we were young! She will be sadly missed! Love you both!
