Michael Paul was the best nephew an uncle could hope for. When he was a young child and growing up you always couldn’t wait to see him because he made you feel he couldn’t wait to see you. When he was a young man I was blessed to train him in the oil field as his father had trained me. I never had a smarter person who picked up on it better or quicker and was a hard worker as I was. When he lived in North Louisiana ,not far from me, it always brightened my children’s day when I told them Michael Paul was coming over. He would arrive and they would exclaim “Michael Paul!”, With grins on their faces and one on his. His grin of course, as usual, lighting up the room like the sun through the window. His dad couldn’t have picked a better nickname than sunny. He made me feel like he was my ” sunny” too. I will miss him and never forget him and honor him. I love you and miss you Michael Paul. Your uncle Johnnie
