July 25, 1980 ~ June 25, 2021

Courtney Rogowski Boyer, 40, of Walker, LA was called to heaven on June 25, 2021 after a long battle with pulmonary hypertension and HHT. She was a wonderful Mother to her son Brennan Michael, who was the love of her life. She is survived by her mother Jodi Woodson, stepfather Bryant, her father Stanley Rogowski, stepmother Edna, her brothers Kevin Rogowski (Kelly) and Eric Rogowski (Crystal) and sister Skyler Rogowski. Also survived by her aunts Lana Miller (George) and Lorri Manning (Mike), and uncle L.J. Laviolette (Sherri), as well as her many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by Grant Laviolette, Delia Kennedy, Veronica Fischer and her grandparents. Courtney held her family as the most important thing in her life, and she enjoyed the special bonds she had with her nephews, Ian and Bryce, her cousins Bridgette, Blake and Jeremy, and her godchild Olivia. Courtney was a beautiful person, a loving Mother, a fighter, one of the most kind hearted people and one who never complained. We will miss her and her smile dearly. “We will hold you in our hearts, till we can hold you in our arms.” Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11400 Sherbrook Dr., Baton Rouge, on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 11:00 am. A visitation will be held at St. Thomas More beginning at 10am. The burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, 1710 S. Range Ave., Denham Springs. If you asked me how many times you have crossed my mind I would say once because you never really left.

My deepest condolences to her family, her son, all her loved ones, her friends and all who will miss her! I have had the pleasure of working with her for years as our two companies work together on a regular basis. She was always friendly, easy-going and great to work with! Most of our work was over the phone or computer but you could just hear and feel her smile and warmth. I also had the pleasure of meeting her in person a few times including when they moved offices recently. It just doesn’t seem real. I can’t imagine her being gone and she seemed far too young for this. I feel so much for her son! I pray for her family, her friends, her JW ‘family’, all that loved and will miss her! Gone too soon, but never to be forgotten! I hope you are at least at some peace, Courtney, and watching over all that love and miss you. May they feel that presence and some peace also.

I will miss you my sweet friend. I will remember our time together working at the daycare, having lunch, sharing moments about our children. In life it’s hard to find people who you can have a real friendship with and I am so glad I was able to have a friendship with you.

To Courtneys family our prayers are with you. I will forever carry Courtney’s memory with me and will remember her strength and courage in moments of weakness in my life.
