Mary Louise Hyde Byrd, 82, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021 at her home in Denham Springs, LA. “Lou-kie” as her siblings called her, was a loving, strong, caring, fun person with a big sense of humor and a creative flair. She had a very strong faith in God that brought her through many health battles. Through many years of suffering, she neve gave up or turned away from her faith. We will all miss her vey much and will look forward to seeing her again. We will find comfort in knowing she no longer has any pain. Until we are together again. Your loving family.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Eddie Ray and Kamie Byrd, Steven and Sandra Byrd, and Debbie and Andy Millet; six grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar O. “Eddie” Byrd; parents, Seaborn Clayborne Hyde and Maybelle Patterson Hyde; and siblings, Seaborn Clayborn Hyde Jr., JV Hyde, Lee Hyde, Paul Hyde, Sheldon Hyde, Dorothy Hyde Thomas, Juanita Hyde Rogers, and Ollie Dolen.

A grave side service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker, LA. Tuesday, June 29, at 11 a.m. Please share your condolences at www.sealefuneral.com.

    I remember the Byrd Family growing up in neighborhood in Baker at the corner store. It was always great to drop in and talk to Mr Eddie and Ms Louise. My prayers are with your Family.
