Graham, Robert

January 28, 1944 – August 4, 2021

Robert Carroll Graham, Sr of Greensburg, Louisiana went to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ at the age of 77 on August 4, 2021 with his family by his side. He was the son of the late Roy and Lorene Graham. Mr Graham was a man of great integrity with a wonderful sense of humor. He spent his life working hard as a carpenter that built many homes in and around Livingston Parish. He loved football, deer hunting, and always had a good joke to tell. He was a wonderful man that loved God with all his heart. Our dad loved us and instilled the importance of working hard and doing good work. He would always say, if you do good work, you will always have work. He is survived by his daughters Tonia Graham-Wattigney (Ed), Sheila Michelle Graham (Darryl), son, Robert Graham, Jr (Christi), step-daughter Kathy Meche (Heath), step-son Dewayne Johnson, numerous grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, siblings Leroy Graham, Gail Graham, and Pat Pastor. Preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Graham. Pallbearers will be Daniel Skinner, Brent Michael LaBorde ll, Alton Mich Graham, Randy Albin, Ernest Brady, and Charles Covington. Visitation will be held at Victory Baptist Church Friday, August 6, 2021 from 5 pm until 8 pm. Visitation resumes Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 9 am till 11 am with services following visitation. Our family wants to give a special thanks to Margie Williams, the mother of his children for opening up her home to spend his last days surrounded by friends and family. Thank you to Home Of Hospice for the wonderful care you gave our daddy.

Carroll, ‘Words’ can’t tell you how very much I miss you. I guess the saying about twins is true. The ONLY comfort for me is knowing where you are and that I will see you soon.

Maw maw, I love you! You ARE the the strongest woman there is. You’ve lost so many, and lost some you were never supposed to see go. You ARE the link that holds the chain of this family together. I’m blessed to call you maw maw! I’m sorry you’ve had to experience the loss of yet another! Nobody can understand the bond between twins, without being a twin themselves! They say God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers, and we all know how “tough” you are! The mansion He has for you in heaven will be beyond measure, there will be enough room that we all will never have to be separated again! I love you maw maw!
