Thomas Douglas Peak, 77, of Walker, LA, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021. Doug was a 1962 graduate of Walker High School and was recently inducted into the Walker High School Athletic Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in football and basketball. Doug was a known best by his family for doing everything possible to provide for them. Making sure they had all their needs provided for and Mrs. Faye to be at home for their children to raise them to be the children he was so proud of. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and he will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is survived by his children, Karla Peak McLaurin, Cheryl Peak Bourg, and Jeannie Peak Rodriguez; grandchildren, Jeremy Pendarvis, Chase McLaurin, Brittany LeBlanc, Blake McLaurin, Ridge Boug, and Sydney Devillier; great-grandchildren, Britton LeBlanc, Jackson Pendarvis, and Briggs LeBlanc; sister, Colleen Peak; and brother-in-law, Robert Jackson; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Peak; grandson, Luke David Pendarvis; parents, Douglas and Mary Rita Peak; and sister, Katie Jackson.

Visitation will be held at Judson Baptist Church, Saturday, August 28, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Minton Cemetery, Walker. Please share your condolences at www.sealefuneral.com.

    My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Mr Doug’s family and friends. I had the wonderful opportunity to spend time and get to know him when I was a young man. He was a true inspiration and had a very positive impact on my life. Definitely one of the kindest man who truly worshiped God and his family.
