We were fortunate enough to have Mr. Quin as a neighbor for 6 years. He was there when my son was born and as soon as he could talk, he and Mr. Quin were buds. They would leave each other a grocery bag of food or gifts, hanging on the fence for each other. On Monday’s he would always check to see if we needed hot tamales. I would leave Mr. Quin food too. He would also always let me know what I could do to make it better the next time I cooked it. Ha! My husband got a kick out of that.
Very blessed to have had many great conversations with him and to see his big smile almost daily. He will always have a special place in our hearts!
Sending love to Mrs. Linda and his entire family!

Michael Quin was a man who celebrated life. He had a lot of friends and enjoyed meeting with them daily. He was a wonderful father and grandfather to all the children on both sides of the family. He was also the loving husband of my sister, Lynda. He will be missed. Praying for peace and strength in the days ahead and thereafter. Love you Sis! Becky

Over the years I heard the story a million times… when I was born and he came to see us in the hospital, as he held me for the first time I cried and screamed until he gave me back to the nurse! Little did I know what a very special uncle he was and that we would share a lasting love and affection for each other from that day forward. What a stinker he was with a huge smile and a big heart. Uncle Mike- you will be dearly missed but you will NEVER be forgotten. I love you so…

It was difficult to get to the mobile “Breakfast Gang ” but he fought hard . We will miss him almost as much as the waitresses that picked on him. He rewarded them and the gang with good humor and Navy Pride everywhere we stopped. Resturant patrons knew Big Mike and will miss him too.

To a very dear friend whom I shared many lunches and breakfasts over the last almost 30 years. He was a very good person and his family was very good as well. We shared many good times working together and also in our personal lives. Thanks for all the things you tough me over our many years as friends. Our family will miss seeing you and being apart of our lives. It’s time to move. May GOD bless you and your family…. Love you man !!!

Mike will be missed by a large coterie of friends, as Mike lived by the notion there are no strangers in his life, only friends he has not met yet. He was one of a kind who’s smile, wit, and giving nature was his calling card. His personality was infectious, whether at a local restaurant, talking on the phone, or meeting someone in the street, Mike’s ifectous smile and and laugh opened many a coversation. He will be missed.
