A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend went to his eternal home on Friday, October 1, 2021. He was 71 years old. Gary proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Gary was an avid fisherman and he loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. He loved watching LSU and the Saints play football and watching the movie Top Gun. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife 50 years, Joanna Brown; three sons, Gary Wayne Brown Jr. and fiancé Ashley James, Jamie Brown and wife Ami, Nicholas Brown and wife Ashley; daughter, Ashley Nichols and husband Andy; five grandchildren, Halle, Carter, Colby, Carly, Sloan; two brothers, Herbert Brown and wife Christine, Barry Holzahuser and wife Denise; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, in Denham Springs on Saturday, October 9, 2021, from 4pm until 8pm with funeral service at 5pm. So sorry to hear about your dad. I only met him a few times but he was a fine man. I know you will miss but he is with Our Lord and no longer suffering. Prayers for you and your family at this time. RIP Mr. Brown.
